MRG was founded on a shared belief: that hard-earned experience should not remain isolated within organizations, but be applied to help others make better decisions and avoid costly mistakes.

The Challenge

Many organizations recognize these risks individually. Fewer understand how they combine, reinforce one another, and ultimately shape business outcomes.

Common Non-Technical Risks

  • Land acquisition and community compensation disputes Reviews
  • Contractor workforce behavior and compliance issues
  •  NGO, media, and social media scrutiny
  • Unmet community expectations on local employment and procurement
  • Inconsistent regional government coordination
    and policy interpretation
  • Indigenous Peoples and other related stakeholder risks
  • Environmental Impact Assessment, permits, and approval risk
  • Security risks around remote sites, logistics routes, camps, and critical assets

Why Clients Work with MRG

1. Outcomes Over Outputs

We measure success by the value created, risks reduced, decisions improved, and capabilities strengthened not by the volume of activity, documentation, or deliverables produced.

2. Seeing the Bigger Picture

In the non-technical space, risks rarely exist in isolation. We help clients understand and manage the
connections between them.

3. Experience-Informed Judgment

Our advice is grounded in lessons learned from leading major operations, projects, crises, and transformation
programs – not solely from analysis or theory

4. Local Context, Global Standards

We combine deep understanding of Indonesian operating environments with international standards,
governance practices, and leadership experience.

5. From Insight to Implementation

Having led organizations from within and worked alongside consultants and advisors throughout our careers,
